Headlight Replacement S90-V90

I've looked at the headlights on my 965 (1997, the 1998 version is V/90), but only to replace the bulb. The headlights themselves were replaced due to front end damage, but I don't know if the bumper had to be removed.

The bumper was removed at another time to re-install the lower valance. I watched the job, and removing it seemed quite simple for two people. Raise one side, remove a few bolts. Same on other side. Then grasp both sides of the bumper just back from the corner curve, lift a bit and slide it off straight frontwards. They used a floor jack, BTW.
