radio location 200 1992

The lower storage cubby at the bottom of the center console was the original radio location for many years, it was only later in the 240's long run that the standard radio started getting mounted up top.

Personally, I do not like having the radio down there, it is too hard to work the controls and drive. Was different back in the days of big knobs and single-purpose buttons. Modern radios are so complex, you cannot work them blindly.
