2 ques m47trans and clutch cable on 240

Trani is good. Probbaly wont need to shop for one. Many people here recommend you slightly Overfill the trani with Fluid.
I had mine out with Over 250K miles on it because a small piece on the 'Selector Plate'. An internal part located under the cover. No digging needed.

The squeak could be the cable but more likely the Pedal as it mounts to the Pivot shaft Bracket. Look up under there, you will see the Return Spring on teh shaft as well. No real room to get up there and work on it. Mine squeaks sometimes and I'm just not ready to disassemble the whole deal to grease the Pivot shaft.
