Get all of it that you can including the driveshaft and engine and transplant the whole worx.
Use your original shifter top on the transmission. You'll have to reinforce the tunnel
for the center driveshaft mount which is somewhat better than the one used in 65.
It probably will NOT need to be welded, however. A heavy strap fitted over the tunnel with
bolt holes in the appropriate place will probably work.
(I did it the other way on my 66 wagon and it was moderately satisfactory but I like the
later mount better.)
