Mirror replacement 140-160

It is made of two pieces.

The base screws to the windshield header with two screws that can only be accessed after the arm is removed.

To remove the arm, push the lower section of the arm toward the windshield. It should snap off the base (there's a little ball joint inside there). Don't worry, it will snap back together. Think of how Volvo would design it for an accident situation, ie. if your head was being thrust toward the mirror, the designers wanted it to break away.

Did you ever find out if 240 window regulators work in an early 140 door?
