Front Strut Replacement... 200

Hi Steve,

Sorry I can't give advice on any aftermarket strut mounts. All I can do is parrot what I've read here; that URO sucks and SKF, while the name evokes the memory of the genesis of Volvo itself, we hear the bearing is OK but the rubber not so good. So far I've just used used. They clean up nicely.

I do agree with your plans to use a hook spanner, based on my experience. Save your pipe wrench purchase for an industrial-sized plumbing project. Impact is a wonderful advantage that cannot be applied to channel lock pliers or a pipe wrench. Use the right tool if you can get it. Just my opinion.
