B20E complete + M41 on eBay 1800

"Did that style D-jet manifold not have a brace?"

According to the parts catalog...

Both style manifolds used it, and predictably there were two different part numbers for the brace. But not so predictable is the fact (again, according to the parts catalog) that the changeover for the newer style brace was not coincident with the changeover to the later manifold. I find that a bit weird.

There are some other anomalies in the catalog, e.g. all '70-'72 1800E's, as well as the '72 ES, are shown to have the older (11 bolt) manifold. I owned a '72 E many many years ago, and I thought it had the newer (9 bolt) manifold. But then, it was many, many years ago... 32 to be exact. :-)
