Oil Temp Sender 200 1988

Here's some pics of the adapter in place.

The view is from up underneath the car behind the R control arm. You can see how I positioned the adapter so that the pressure sender bulb is up on top and the temp sender is at the bottom.

I drilled and tapped the adapter to make a reliable ground path back to the chassis. They warn you not to use TFE pipe tape on the 1/8" pipe thread of the senders because the gauge relies on a good ground path. You can see I love making grounding straps.

Oil press and temp! If I had this with my first engine, I would have noticed the oil getting thinned every 2k miles and me getting a low oil press lite after 20min of highway driving. Jeez... doesn't that thing kick on at 5psi or something? Brutal!
