Top Bellhousing Bolt Trouble? Use the Floor Jack

Hi,

I’ve been there and done that so you don‘t have to. Believe me! It’s not that easy, but once the bolt was loose it unthreaded by hand from the engine compartment.

To gain more access to the space between the engine and the firewall, I lifted the tailshaft of the transmission using the floor jack. This made it easier then diddling with the extensions. The transmission mount was swollen from the rear main seal leak, which I am attempting to remedy.
