Windshield washer nozzle adjustment 120-130

You guys are great for my daily Amazon questions, THANKS!

Today's task:
Disassemble, clean and adjust Trico windshield washer nozzles from hood of 66 122s.

They came apart fine and all parts cleaned up nice:

(1) Main body (attaches to hood, hose attaches to this)
(2) Nozzle arms (screws into body, 1/4" wrench to tighten)
(2) Nozzle caps (marked Trico, knurled edge, screws into arms)

Spray to windshield is combination of aligning "notch" in arm and internal "flat" on cap.

How do notch/cap align? Notch straight up? Notches at 45 degrees inboard towards windshield? Cap internal flats perpendicular to notch?

It's SO small and simple, yet SO complicated! And it's still raining!

Any nozzle repair experience?

Thanks
