Trans Kaput? some weirdness in 960 900 1996

After changing the oil this past weekend, I noticed some trans fluid wetting the crossmember. I don't have an ideal DIY setup in the drive, so I drove to a local garage and had them hoist it up. Their diagnosis: fluid leaking from the bellhousing area, maybe the internal seals was their best guess.

The car shudders when pulling away from a stop which made me suspect the trans mounts, but the garage said no, they are spongy but probably because they're saturated with fluid.

Car has 200k miles and I have only put on about 5k of those. Luckily, I did get the car for very cheap, so I'm not too worried.

Add fluid and keep driving?
