bulb indicator always on 200 1984

ok, so have fixed some issues with my 244 GL, including replacing some fuses. everything worked fine, and now all of a sudden the bulb out indicator is always on (there are no bulbs out) and (could be unrelated) the O2 sensor light, battery light and brake failure light illuminate faintly. When I rev engine to 4000 RPM, everything but the bulb indicator goes off for a while, only to come back on. the 2nd issue doesn't happen when idling. I inspected engine cavity and it looks like the battery might be spraying. does this make ANY sense to anyone? cause it sure doesnt to me!
