Running issue CIS 200 1979

Problem solved! I discovered that wiggling the large supply hose to the main pump would cause the engine to sputter and miss. Upon pulling the in tank pump, I found that the piece of hose connecting the pump to the pick up tube was gone. I imagine it had deteriorated and fallen apart. I replaced the pump, the sock, and the sender assembly. The car runs beautifully now!
