Overfill oil =?= low idle? 200 1984

Hey guys. I overfilled the oil a bit on my 84 240DL (B23F/M46) and now it idles irritatingly low until it's warmed up. I could re-set the base idle, but I don't want to.

Also, I had the IAC apart and cleaned and lubricated it, but it has serious pitting on the commutator from internal arcing from the brushes to commutator. I have the spare IAC my 92 engine came from. That's LH 2.4. Would it fit my older LH2.0 (Chrysler) system?

Thanks! And Happy Bricking
