Horn Wire 120-130

OK-I replaced my steering coupler today, and that the stupid horn wire is feed through the center of the coupler. I didn't want to cut it on the steering wheel side and have a splice inside of the rods. So, I cut it where the horn wire connects to the two wires near the radiator, and pulled through the steering wheel.

So, to get the wire feed back through the rods, I feed a thin wire through the little hole at the end of the steering box through to the steering wheel, and soldered the wire to the horn wire and it pulled right through. I only clip off about a 1/8" of the horn wire to get the soldered end off.

Any other ways of doing it?

Paul
