ok i got my sender in the mail today and according to Art's write up the aftermarket sender wires + and - have to be switched. I checked mine and yes they were in the wrong place so i switched them.
I have a question about the 2 wires in the harness at the connector (please see pic)
They seem to backwards in the connector too should I switch these as well?
Do the wires from the sender have to match the wires in the harness?

The aftermarket plug is on the right the factory plug is on the left.
