B18B Block Orifices 1800 1965

I have a 65 P1800 with the original block.There are threaded holes on the upper left and lower right on the exhaust side that may have been used for the oil cooler which is no longer there. The threads are odd size so what do I plug them with and do I need to connect them together with a hose? thanks
