Yes, I will look for an "L" tranny for my non-turbo 86 745. I replaced the German tranny with an AW71 and it has been great for city driving, but I was looking for a bit more (maybe a lot more) MPG while highway driving. I'm looking into moving 400 miles away and visiting my Mom once a month will take some $$ for gas.
