Need some diagnostic help fellas! 120-130

My 67' Amazon with a B20 has always ran perfect. And I have been bragging on how awesome a car it is. Of course, now it is having problems.

Starting a couple of days ago, it started having some bad valve train sounds. It sounds like a diesel with all the valve noise. Yesterday I reset the valve clearances, and it made no difference.

All the sound seems to be eminating from the #1 cylinder valves. Don't know if rod prob, or valve.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Kent
