940 Front End Work

Pipe dream but nice try anyway. The struts are easily changed by following the FAQ procedures: you loosen them from the top mounts, then swing the entire assembly down so that you can pull the top of the strut free of the wheel well. You then compress the spring and remove the strut. This procedure also allows you to replace the top mounts.
The rods are known as "control rods". Unless they have been replaced recently, plan on new conical bushings for the fronts of these rods. While the OEM rubber bushings are fine, the IPD polyurethane units last much, much longer.
