what are my options for replacing a donut tire spare 200

hi sages- never ran into this one before. been restoring my recently acquired 92 volvo 240 wagon. noticed today the spare tire is exploded. what size tire does this call for . donut tire says 155 R 90 15. the wheel will fit and bolt on to the hub, but the wheel cover wont go in it. it is a volvo stamped wheel. why would the spare be a 15 inch and the regular wheels on this model call for 185 70R 14? found a volvo wheel with a different sized donut tire on it from a 960 in a junk yard. used tire dealer has one for 32 which is a 155 60 R 15 which is close and would appear to go on the donut tire rim. will need a mortgage to get it from the volvo dealer. thinking i ought to look for a regular rim for a 92 volvo , put a used 185 70R 14 on it and use it for the spare. whats your best advice? was muchbetter when all 5 wheels on a car were the same. thanks tons oldduke
