sticking caliper 700

Hi all, i have a 1990 740 na and when the brakes get hot and i sit stationary with my foot on the brakes , the rhs front jams on and when i next reapply the brakes i feel a clunk on this side which i assume is the hub assembly moving because the brakes are stuck on. My diagnosis is that the pistons are sticking in the caliper. I should add that i have just purchased the car which i dont believe was driven much lately. Do you concurr or am i missing something? Thanks for your opinions. David
