I too like to see the resolution, especially when it is such a mystery!

Yes, I have seen the wooden engine "hoist" in the FAQ. I have already made mine...used a 4 x 4 reinforced with a 2 x 4. Just need a couple of days of free time to tackle the oil pan gasket job. It appears that I won't have a chance until Memorial Day weekend.

One last thing...On Monday March 28, I had a new headliner installed. I was very worried about the 20 year-old plastic trim which surrounds the headliner. What a wonderful surprise when I saw my beloved 740 with a bright new headliner and all plastic as good as new! Next will be new upholstery. Anyone know where I can get original cloth material?
