breather box test help 200

Ok I think I checked my breather box correctly.
I unplugged the vac line from the manifold and on plugged the the hose that attaches from the top of the flame trap the intake tube I took off the oil cap and covered the vac line with my thumb and blew into the tube that is attached to the top of the flametrap ( I have just put in a new flame trap ) its free and clear. Put the oil cap back on and blew again and no leaks system is closed, is this correct?
Oh and one more thing could it still be clogged enough to cause positive crankcase pressure even though you can blow through it?
