I use the box wrench except for the lower nut on cyl. 4, where a deep-well 13 socket works. If you're trying to set the torque to 15 ft-lbs to compress the gasket evenly, use the torque wrench* to snug up the final turns on the first two, then feel how tight they are with your box wrench, and with your ratchet and socket. Now your arm, box wrench, ratchet, and muscle memory are calibrated for M8 bolts everywhere.

*Make sure the torque wrench is small enough where 15 foot-pounds is an appreciable part of its range. Big wrenches, suitable for lug nuts and crank bolts won't be that easy to use on M8 hardware. So many stories of broken M6 and M8 bolts told on this forum come to mind.
