New 940 owner, sunroof question, won't close 900 1992

Hey guys, new 940 owner here, it's a 1992. So far so good and just one problem at this point.

The sunroof won't close unless someone holds down what is a large flap in front.

Not sure how to fix it or what's broken or missing. Any help, a diagram or something would be grand, and thoughts about what I need to do to get it to work properly.

BTW the 940 is truly a nice ride.
