rear flange on driveline 120-130

There is a round flange on the rear end and it mates up to a round flange on the back end of the propeller shaft. Only mine doesn't fit perfectly. With the bolts out, it wobbles very slightly. Not sure why, I just remember this detail from a year ago when I replaced the driveline. So, now the seal leaks from the front of the pumpkin. I will take the driveline off and replace the seal. But I wonder if there is a method for centering these round flanges on each other, and making them mate up. Seems like anything I do at home with a file is likely to make them off-center from each other. Do I need a machine shop?
