Use of Message Board 900

Several Times during the past few months as I've become more active on Brickboard, I have encountered a frustrating problem.

I will be working on a message, spending some considerable time to carefully articulate what I'm trying to say. At some point I will find it necessary to "bold" a comment, for example when referring to a particular subject heading in the FAQ section. For emphasis, I will from habit (using Microsoft Word) push the keys: Control B.

As soon as I do that, my message disappears, I'm back on the FAQs and I cannot retrieve my message to complete it. I'm I crazy, or is this something someone else has encountered?

For example, I was in the middle of writing a message regarding what I thought was a direct contradiction on the FAQs about the positioning of concave washers when connecting the exhaust manifold to the head. I pushed control B and that was the last I saw of that message. Did anyone get the message, or did Control B just erase it entirely?

Sorry to waste time on a non-substantive issue, but it is very frustrating.
