95 940 stalls during rain and has much trouble starting after a night of rain 900 1995

In the old days i would have removed my distributor cap and cleaned of the water but I just don't see how that could be case given the cap location and there doesn't appear to be any water around it. What do you think?

We usually get it restarted while rapidly pumping the gas peddle in the morning after a rain.
