Seek wiring diagram for 55 amp Bosch alternator w/ separate regulator 120-130

Finally getting around to installing a 55 amp Bosch alternator I scavenged from an 1800(E) some time ago, onto a B20 in a 67 122. In the 1800, the reg was mounted on inner fender on driver's side. Necessary? Desirable? Can I use (any/all of) the existing loom from the generator? Anyone done this and where did you mount the reg? I need a diagram or an articulate description of the wires, connections and their gauge(s). Correct colors would nice as well just to keep things looking original. I'm working in a friend's shop and have access to one of those professional crimping tools and a variety of wire sizes and colors, so this should be fun.
