"Retiring' 93 240..

"If it has a new full exhaust system, why is it still loud?"

Unfortunately it needs a new full exhaust. It doesn't have one. I think the noise is partly due to a worn camshaft.

"It could use thousands of dollars of work-the steering rack has a small leak, a new full exhaust, radiator etc etc. " ---Just to be clear, thats a list of things off the top of my head I know it needs in the near future.

"Not being familiar with the CA law, could it be possible for you to part it out and still get the retirement pension afterward? Its yet good pieces could live on in someone's less abused 240 and bring a measure of absolution for the sin perceived."

Ive considered that, but I live in a city. I don't have a garage or any place to take on a project like that. Unfortunately...

I appreciate what you are saying.
