The bracket for the crank positioning sensor cracked. Transmission removal againain? 200 1991

One of the last steps in my replacement of the transmission was to install the crank positioning sensor. I couldn't get the bolt to tighten. A closer look revealed the back
Looks like The only alternative for replacing this bracket is to again remove the transmission and basically start at square one again. There MUST be another alternative.
Am I up the Volvo creek here again?
