has anyone here diagnosed and repaired a dead horn in a late 240(92)? 200

hi sages- put this up weeks ago but got no response. horn in my 92 does not work. hotwired the horn behind the grill and it works, so problem must be switch or something else. doesnt appear to be a relay in this circuit. fuse checks out ok. pushing horn switch on wheel gets no response. strangely sometimes pushing horn switch actuates the rear tailgate wiper. not thrilled about disabling the srs air bag system which is apparently what you have to do before you get to the switch button in the steering wheel air bag pod. would appreciate if someone who has done this job can guide me. thanks tons old duke
