Found - Volvo 1272913 orange strut cartridges 200

I lo0cated and successfully extracted a set of orange strut cartridges Volvo PN Volvo 1272913. Made in France it says. A search for orange struts suggest these are actual de carbons for the 240 Turbo. It is an 82-83 245 Turbo with intercooler.

The strut cartridge piston is nearly as large in diameter as a Bilstein HD. Research suggests Bilstein in San Diego can rebuild and revalve these. The 1990 245 DL wagon had massively HD springs. As large a wire diameter as I'd seen. Heavier than the 242 GT and 240 Turbo springs.

This 83 245 Turbo had very average springs. The wire was as thin as that one the strut spring of an 79 244 DL in the same yard.

Happy Holidayze,

Fuzzy.
