Shift Lock Problem 200 1992

Hi

I had noticed my wife's 92 245 needed a bushing or two replacing due to clanking from the shifter arm and the loose shifter. Had been meaning to get around to changing them out but other projects had gotten in the way.

Today when I started it up the shifter wouldn't move out of Park. Pressed the internal shiftlock button and we were good to go. When I returned home I changed one of the shifter arm bushings that was totally gone. Thought that might be the problem, but it was not.

Now every time the car needs moved out of Park the shiftlock button needs pressed. Where to go from here? What to test?

I have already checked the #12 fuse and it's fine

Thanks
Travis
