940 fuel pump OEM 900

I recieved my replacement fuel pump for my Regina system the other day from FCP Groton. On their web site they claim this pump @ $114.00 is OEM and when I received it I noticed stamped on the pump PPM and the company name on the package was Professional Parts Sweden- Made in Spain.
My question is, was PPM the original manufacturer of this pump or is FCP trying to claim they are? They only offer 2 choices of pumps for the car under the Regina system and the other they do claim as aftermarket at $40.
I'd hate to install this and find have it not perform as well as the original did.
