Brake Job Unsucessful

Bob,

I have had a collapsed brake hose only once, there was no physical evidence on the outside. It was discovered by the process on elimination, pads and rotor were replaced because of wear. Then the rotor was billowing smoke after a ride, so the caliper was then replaced. A week later the smoke was coming out of the rotor again, so the brake hose was replaced and all was finally normal with the brake system.

Replace it and see if your problem goes away.
