Do not adjust the tie rods to "center" the steering wheel. They are only adjusted (in equal amounts) when setting toe-in.

The Bentley manual says:
"The difference in length between the left and right tie rods must not exceed 2 mm (0.08 in.) when measured from the locknut to the wrench grip (flats) on the tie rod". [page 620-3]

Steering wheel centering is done (after wheel alignment) by repositioning the wheel on the splined upper end of the steering column. You'll need a 27 mm or 1 1/16" deep socket for the nut. The basic procedure is on Bentley page 640-7, with special SRS airbag and contact reel instructions on page 880-6 (Torx TX30 driver required to remove airbag).
