240 jack / lift and jack stand / support points, once and for all 200

Hello, please help identify where to safely place jacks and jack stands on my 1993 240 wagon. I'm a beginner at auto maintenance and want to ensure my safety and prevent damage to the car. I've read the manual, the Bentley and numerous posts, yet still I'm not 100% clear.

Pictures will work best to describe the points, avoiding terminology which may vary by person or country. Please indicate the proper lift and support points by downloading the following photos, circling the points using Photoshop, then attaching them to a reply. Specifically, please identify points on the:
- front cross member
- lower control arm
- rear axle
- trailing arms
- any other safe jacking and jack stand points

The "passenger's rear side view" shows a jack stand under a circular disk which I thought was a support point. However, when I began lowering the car on to it, the area buckled, so I raised the car. The "passenger's front side view" shows a similar disk to the left of the adapter for the stock jack, and there are similar disks on the driver's side. Are these lifting or support points?

Lastly, the "passenger's rear side view" shows the stock jack attached to the car. Is this the "jacking point" that everyone refers to? Can this be used by non-stock floor jacks and lifts? Can this be used by jack stands, and how?

This is the best post I've seen on the subject - http://www.brickboard.com/RWD/volvo/1257239/220/240/260/280/240_jack_points_reference_wpics_really_jacking.html Still, the pictures are unclear and it doesn't differentiate between lift and support points.

Hopefully this can will answer the question for everyone once and for all. Thank you for your help.
