M41 "J' type overdrive 1800 1970

While rebuilding this transmission I decided to open up the overdrive unit and do a visual inspection. Everything looked fine until the valves were taken out. I found one broken with a very small lock nut broken off. Also in the same valve body area at the screw end a steel ball which I think was in the wrong place. I am looking for someone who has a parts OD unit and possibly someone else who knows how the valves are set up. The Haynes manual I am referring to is not as clear as I'd like to verify valve set up and which one goes where etc. There may also be a better schematic available to help with assembly. If you can help I'd be grateful.RR.
