poor AC performance related to loss of vent flow under acceleration?? 900

I recently had the AC recharged in my 940 with MCC (manual cliamate control)
It typically loses pressure over the course of 1-2 years and then is fine after an evac and recharge. After the chage the compressor stays on and doesnt cycle but still only cool air... not cold air from the vents.

Recently I have also noticed that the flow from the dash vents goes away on acceleration. I've read up on this in the FAQ. Wondering if the poor AC performance is related in any way to this vacuum problem?? perhaps the water valve is leaking into the heater core as a result of the vacuum leak??

Condensor fan is working as it should, but I will also clean out the condensor fins / coils and see if that improves the situation.

I'm taking it back to the shop to check for leaks with the UV light.

Thanks in advance for responses.

Matt
