Rattle right rear as if loose exhaust brackets?but not 700 1990

hi
My daughter's 940 had a very similar rattle which drove me crazy. I spent HOURS crawling under the car banging on everything with a rubber mallet. Nothing. I even rode in the trunk while she drove thru a pasture hoping to find the rattle. Still nothing. This went on for about a year. Finally, I came across a thread on Bilstein Touring shocks and rattles. I swapped out the rear Bilsteins (which had 25-30m miles on them) for some KYB Gas Adjust. Still had the rattle. Fortunately, I had not seated one of the coil springs properly and it popped off as I drove out of the driveway. I say fortunately because once I properly re-installed it, NO RATTLE!
