240 fuel pump issues 200

It's been so long since I worked on my '88 240 n/a, I've forgotten much.
Still using the 940T as a daily driver though.
It (240) has been sitting since 2007. Prepped it to start it up and it turned over and started like it had been running daily for the past 4 years. Purred like a kitten but then died after a few minutes.

Good spark, no fuel. Listened for pumps, no joy, fuses good.
Filled tank with 5 gal. of gas, no joy.
Pulled tank pump, connector hose is OK & pump runs when connected directly to 12VDC but nothing when hooked up to the car. No power at the pump. I don't remember, does this model have a fuel pump relay? Where?

My gut tells me the main pump was pushing whatever was in the lines but isn't getting anything from the tank pump. Too dark to continue tonight so I will take up troubleshooting again in the AM.
