Overdrive Problem - Mainshaft bushing came off 120-130

I pulled my overdrive (J-type) unit off my M41, and the bushing in the OD that sits at the end of the mainshaft was at the end of the mainshaft instead of in the OD.

Did something like a circlip come off in the OD allowing the bushing to come out with the mainshaft?

Do I need to take the OD apart to get it back in?

The bushing is 3/4inch O.D. with dimpled inner surface.

Paul
