Would a set of newer FWD wheels fit on an older 164 without spacers? I was looking around and found that the pre-1974 164E's have approximately a 40mm wheel offset. Can anyone confirm this? I've called IPD twice and received 2 different answers. I'd like to know for sure before I bother trying to buy a set of FWD offset wheels.
