RE Unintended acceleration 200 1982

IN answer to Art Bernstein i have the electronic fuel injection The car has 149K Previous issues are hard starting when warm. Often when starting warm the engine would load up belching black smoke then clear. Many years ago I had an issue with while in neutral the inability to hold 2500rpm without oscillating engine speed. This was needed to pass smog. Under load the problem didn't exist I have also changed the distributor to a Bosch with the Bosch box It originally had the crappy Chrysler distributor.
