Great write up Dave. I actually found your detailed article after I pulled up my rug.
I never used por-15 and have only seen it used on that page.

Is it really that strong?

For about $100 bucks more than the price of the por-15 kit I can get a jk floor board and drivers seat mount and have a welder buddy do the job. It would just take 3 hours of my time to prep it... But I'm really uncomfortable about the welding being done that close to my fuel and brake lines. :(

So is the por-15 stuff really that good???
