Oil leaking from valve cover 120-130

Hi all,

I'm busy with a rebuild of a b20b on a 122s.
I'm in the process of preparing the engine to be started up by firstly filling the engine with fresh oil.
I've noticed oil leaking from the back of the engine from underneath the valve cover.
I am using IPD's neoprene valve cover gasket on a valve cover that has been chrome plated.
I suspect that the valve cover may have twisted during the plating process.
The screws holding the valve cover are tight but i am afraid to over-tighten them.

Please advise as once the oil gets thinner, the oil will definately leak more.

Many thanks
