Demise or Not 900

For those who have followed the threads lately, you will probably recognize that I am a 940 enthusiast experiencing a rebirth of confidence in the mark with the help of this forum.

I have 3 different colored basically the same 940s circa 94 & 95 and one owned since its birth is my favorite with the lowest mileage, 130K.

Naturally, in an exuberance of fatherly expression, it is that one I've given to my 19 year old daughter as her car and she has had an on again off again relationship with it to my delight ... dismay. Last week, it was her baby and she suddenly bonded with and loved it again.

Until, Saturday morning when she smashed it in an accident that is hard to understand, but she's OK. So, now I've given her my next favorite and we'll see how she does with that. To her credit, prior to the smash up on Saturday, her driving record, and a lot of driving at that, has been without incident.

I have rebuilt the nose and quarter panels of both the other 940s within the past 3 years and I'll do this one, if I can find a parts car. At my local Pick and Pull (Millis, MA) there are none, which is a surprise considering that as recently as last Summer there always seemed to be 1/2 dozen or more. What does that signify,I wonder?

I will in time find a bumper assembly, left front quarter panel and left head light - non fog - assembly. The hood is bent, but can probably be salvaged without replacement.

The thing that stumps me a little because I've never had the experience, is the air bags. Both of these mysteriously deployed. Mysterious, because it didn't seem like much of an impact. And the passenger bag cover hinged forward and broke the windshield. That's why the windshield is involved, not because of the accident itself.

What do I do about the air bags?

Sorry, I didn't check the FAQs first and I seem to recall something there, so just direct me, if that's the route I should take.

...A lot of work I hadn't planned on and this is the car that has the suspect warped hear/blown gasket. Which makes it difficult to decide how much effort and money should be expended. However, after the pepper treatment, things has seemed to return to normal. No longer a starting problem, although there is still some indication of coolant in a cylinder.
