260 will not start 200

My honorary daughter who lives 3000 miles away, recently bought a 1982 262. All of my experience is with 4 cylinders. I have never touched a V6. I have not found a positive word about them on BB.

She says it runs fine. However it often will not start at all. I covered some of basic usual suspects with her to no avail. Is there something particular to this engine that could be causing it?
